These pictures made me so sad today.
This is the front yard of 7335 Upper 136th St. W. in Apple Valley, MN--where I grew up. The people who bought our house (after it was on the market for over a year) cut down 4-5 pine trees that had been growing there for 19 years. It breaks my heart. Those trees were so pretty and the jerks who bought our house just cut them down.
I don't have pictures of what our yard used to look like on this computer so I can't put 'before and after' pics up right now, but believe me, once I do I will!
Talk about the opposite of being green---those trees provided a lot of shade which in turn kept the house cooler so I hope the new residents of 7335 enjoy their bleached-out belongings.
I know it shouldn't be such a big deal to me but it just hurts my heart a little.
